Day 1. Saturday. AUCKLAND - BANGKOK
Depart Auckland this afternoon with Thai Airways for Bangkok arriving mid evening. Overnight at an airport hotel.

Day 2. Sunday. BANGKOK - KATHMANDU (D)
Return to the airport and fly to Kathmandu. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your accommodation at Dwarika's Hotel.

Day 3. Monday. KATHMANDU - DHULIKEL (BD)
Drive into the beautiful Nepal countryside to the Himalayan Shangri la resort hotel at Dhulikel. The rest of the day is free to enjoy your resort, visit a local village, or whatever you wish until your group arrives from Tibet.

Day 4. Tuesday. DHULIKEL - KATHMANDU (BD)
Explore the area this morning and this afternoon return to Kathmandu and Dwarika's Hotel.

Day 5. Wednesday. KATHMANDU (BD)
A highlight of your tour will be our included flight along the backbone of the Himalayas for a close up look at Mt Everest and return to Kathmandu.
During the rest of the day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the old city of Kathmandu, and the temple of the living goddess, the palace of the medieval malla Kings, Pashupatinath temple and famous Swoyambunath Stupa with its playful monkeys.

Day 6. Thursday KATHMANDU - NAGARKOT (BD)
Visit Bhaktapur, the city of devotees and best restored of the medieval royal cities of the valley. Meander through the narrow lanes and see Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, Palace of 55 windows, Pottery centre, etc. Overnight at Fort Resort.

Day 7. Friday. NAGARKOT - POKHARA (BD)
Drive to beautiful Pokhara Valley nestled among the mighty mountains of the Annapurna range. We take a break at the Riverside Spring resort en route. Accommodation at Fishtail Lodge on the shores of the lake.

Day 8. Saturday. POKHARA - CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
Early morning drive to the famed Chitwan National Park, one of the best preserved parks in Asia and home to the Royal Bengal Tiger and one horned Rhinoceros. Check into our jungle resort and after a briefing head off by elephant back for an evening nature safari.

Day 9. Sunday. CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
A full range of park activities are included today. Elephant back big game watching, jungle walk for bird watching, canoeing, and cultural activities.

Day 10. Monday. CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK - KATHMANDU (BD)
We fly to Kathmandu this morning with a free afternoon for your own activities.

Day 11. Tuesday. KATHMANDU DEPART (B)
Transfer to the airport for departure to Bangkok connecting to your overnight flight to Auckland.

Day 12. Wednesday. Wednesday. AUCKLAND ARRIVE
Arrive Auckland this morning.
