Day 1. Saturday ARRIVE TOKYO
Arrive Tokyo and transfer by coach to Shiba Park Hotel or similar. (Other hotels can be substituted for extra expense)

Day 2. Sunday TOKYO
Our morning tour includes the Tokyo Tower observatory, drive by the National Diet building, Imperial East Garden, drive through Akihabara and Ginza and visit the Asakusa Kannon and Nakamise shopping arcade. Free afternoon and evening to explore at your leisure.

Day 3. Monday TOKYO - MT FUJI - HAKONE (L)
Drive through the countryside and half way up Mt Fuji for lunch at Hotel Highland Resort then on to Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi and ride on the Mt Komagatake aerial Cableway. Overnight at Hakone Kowaki-en hotel. Why not try the hot spring baths tonight? (extra expense).

Day 4. Tuesday HAKONE - TOBA (L)
Drive to Odawara and join the Shinkansen (bullet train) for the fast ride to Nagoya. After lunch visit Nagoya Castle and Tokugawa Art Museum. Late afternoon transfer by train to Toba.

Day 5. Wednesday TOBA - KYOTO (L)
Visit Pearl Island this morning to see the process of cultured Pearls and women pearl divers at work. After a seafood lunch at the hotel drive to Ise-Jingu shrine and on to Kyoto by train. Accommodation at New Miyako hotel or similar for 3 nights.

Day 6. Thursday KYOTO AND NARA (L)
Sightseeing tour of Kyoto this morning includes the Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle, and Kyoto Imperial Palace. Lunch included before visiting ancient Nara including the Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Shrine, and Deer Park.

Day 7. Friday KYOTO - FREE DAY
Free day to explore at your leisure. Maybe take an optional tour to Hiroshima including bullet train, Peace Memorial Park, and Itsukushima shrine - extra cost $650

Day 8. Saturday KYOTO - OSAKA DEPART
Transfer to Osaka airport for departure

Tour cost includes:- All transfers and travel in Japan by coach and bullet train, 7 nights accommodation at medium standard hotels, 4 lunches while touring, sightseeing admissions where necessary unless listed as optional.
