Day 1-2. Friday. AUCKLAND - VANCOUVER
Depart Auckland this evening with Air New Zealand for your non stop flight to Vancouver. Crossing the dateline means arriving the same day. You will be met on arrival and transferred to accommodation downtown.
Day 3. Saturday. VANCOUVER (B)
Our tour of Vancouver includes Downtown, Stanley Park, Gastown, Chinatown,and Queen Elizabeth Park, as well as tram ride up Grouse mountain.
Day 4. Sunday. VANCOUVER. (B)
Free day to explore as you wish. Maybe take a day tour to Victoria or Seattle.
Day 5. Monday. VANCOUVER - KAMLOOPS (BL) Transfer to the rail station and board the "Rocky Mountaineer" departing at 7am for one of the most magnificent rail journeys in the world. Pass through the fertile Fraser Valley before entering Fraser Canyon and follow the Thompson River to historic Kamloops where arrival is scheduled for 5.05pm. Transfer on arrival to accommodation supplied by "Rocky Mountaineer". Breakfast and lunch are provided on board the train.
Day 6. Tuesday. KAMLOOPS - BANFF. (BL)
Back aboard the "Rocky Mountaineer" and depart at 7am for a day of spectacular scenery. Travel through vast ranchlands and pass Craigellache before entering Rogers Pass with its tunnels, showsheds, and glaciers. On through Kicking Horse Pass and the spiral tunnels, and over the Continental Divide. Late afternoon arrive Banff and transfer to your hotel. Breakfast and lunch are served on the train.
Day 7. Wednesday. BANFF. (B) Morning sightseeing includes the Hoodoos, Surprise Corner, Bow River Valley, and a gondola ride to the peak of sSulpher mountain. Free afternoon to explore at your leisure.
Day 8. Thursday. BANFF. (B)
Free day to explore at your lesiure. There are many optional activities. Visit Calgary if you wish.
Day 9. Friday. BANFF - LAKE LOUISE (B)
Drive to beautiful Lake Louise this morning for a special night at Chateau Lake Louise. Free afternoon for a trail hike, canoe on the lake, or just relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains and lake..
Day 10. Saturday. LAKE LOUISE - JASPER. (B)
Continue along the famed Icefields Parkway. See Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto lake, Columbia Icefield with Snocoach ride, and Athabasca Falls. Arrive Jasper late afternoon for 2 nights.
Day 11. Sunday. JASPER DEPART. (B)
Free morning to explore at your leisure. We recommend a tour to Maligne Lake. This afternoon board Via Rail departing at 2.30pm for Vancouver. More magnificent scenery on the way and you have access to the Dome Car. Cabin provided with dinner and breakfast included.
CANADA COAST TO COAST. Stay an extra night in Jasper and depart by train monday for Toronto, and continue to Niagara Falls, Montreal, Quebec and Halifax if you wish. For the complete experience your Holland America cruise can be taken before you start your Canadian Rockies tour.

Arrival in Vancouver is scheduled for 9.42am. Make your way back to your hotel.

Free day. Maybe take a tour to Whistler by train or Victoria or Seattle.

Free morning. Make your way to the cruise terminal to board your luxury Holland America cruise ship "Volendam" (61,214 tons. 1,432 Passengers). sail at 5pm.
Day 15. Thursday. CRUISING. (BLD)
A day to settle in and enjoy all the facilities, service, entertainment, and cuisine of your resort.
Day 16. Friday. CRUISING - Tracy Arm and Sawyer Glacier. (BLD)
JUNEAU - Arrive 2pm - Depart 10.30pm.
Optional scenic flights by float plane or helicopter and tours to Mendenhall Glacier, Brewery, Whale watching cruise, Salmon Bake etc.
Day 17. Saturday. CRUISING - Skagway. (BLD)

Transfer to the rail station to join Amtrak for the scenic ride through New York State to New York arriving early evening. Transfer to the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers in the heart of Broadway and within walking distance of all the main attractions of New York.

Our full day sightseeing includes 'uptown' and 'downtown' New York. See Central Park, Times Square, Ground Zero, the Statue of Liberty (visit not included), the Stock exchange on Wall Street, the Empire State Building, etc. Tickets to a major show are included this evening!
Day 30. Friday NEW YORK (B)
We have left today free for you to explore the city at your leisure, enjoy the museums, ride the Staten Island ferry, take in another show, or whatever you wish. All activities are extra expense.
Day 31. Saturday NEW YORK - WASHINGTON (B)
Drive to Philadelphia to see Independence Hall and the Liberty bell, site of the first continental congress and writing of the United States Constitution. Continue to Baltimore and Fort McHenry and on to Washington for 2 nights.
Day 32. Sunday WASHINGTON (B)
Our morning tour includes photostops at the White House and Capitol, Lincoln Mermorial, Vietnam Memorial, Arlington Cemetary, etc. The afternoon is free. Maybe visit the Smithsonian Institute, National cathedral, or other famous places. All afternoon activities are extra expense.
Day 33. Monday WASHINGTON - MT VERNON - WILLIAMSBURG (B)
Drive through old town Alexandra and visit Mt Vernon, the restored home of George Washington. Tour the house and gardens and visit the gravesite. Continue to Yorktown historical battlefield park where the English surrendered in 1781 bringing the American revolution to a conclusion. Overnight in Williamsburg.
Day 34. Tuesday WILLIAMSBURG - RICHMOND DEPART (B)
Explore Williamsburg's historic areas and visit the archeaological site of Jamestown, first permanent english settlement in the New World. Drive to Richmond, capital of Virginia and depart aboard the "Silver Star" late afternoon. 2 berth cabins included.
Day 35. Wednesday ORLANDO ARRIVE (B)
Arrival at orlando is scheduled for late morning and we are met and transferred to our hotel near the gates of Disneyworld for 4 nights. A 3 day Disneyworld Pass is provided and you can start enjoying the experience this afternoon.

Today we go back into history with a full day tour to discover Louisiana Plantation life. First stop is Laura Plantation where B'rer Rabbit was recorded then on to Oak Alley for lunch and a guided tour of the plantation before returning to New Orleans.
Day 49. Wednesday NEW ORLEANS DEPART (B)
This may be enough touring for most and we transfer to the airport for our flight to Los Angeles and home.There is still so much to see of America and we recommend Globus 7 night Canyon Country adventure flying to Phoenix and touring Sedona, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, lake Powell, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and Las Vegas.
